Dickens of a Christmas
Let the Holiday countdown begin! Cassie March, one of our buyer specialists, gets our countdown started with one of her favorite things: Franklin’s Dickens of a Christmas.

Snow will be falling on the 33rd annual street festival Dickens of a Christmas, a recreation of the Charles Dickens era using historic downtown Franklin’s Victorian architecture as the backdrop. Some 200 musicians, dancers, and characters will fill the streets, including several from Charles Dickens’s stories. Expect to see and interact with the nefarious Fagin from Oliver Twist; Jacob Marley, Ebenezer Scrooge and Tiny Tim Cratchit with his parents from A Christmas Carol; and of course, a Victorian Father and Mother Christmas with treats for children.
The event will take place December 9 & 10 and will feature an ice skating rink in Downtown Franklin.
MAFIAoZA’S Pizzeria and Neighborhood Pub

MAFIAoZA’S Pizzeria opened in 2003 and was an instant neighborhood favorite. Customers loved their authentic Italian menu, their warm, welcoming ambience, and impressive wine list, which mixed the Old World with the New. MAFIAoZA’S is known for serving the finest stone-oven pizza in the southeast, as well as a wide variety of dishes featuring fresh, seasonal ingredients.
